ARCHITECTURE
A striking eye-catcher that inspires with its diversity and cheerful colors: this is how we staged the facade of the Junior Uni Daun of the Lepper Foundation.
As a “lighthouse of education”, the exterior reflects the desire to learn, cosmopolitanism and diversity: a coherent architectural reflection of the ‘inner life’ and a friendly invitation to get to know this institution.
The building offers students a practical example and concrete illustrative material for their education.
FOCUS
The focus of the project, which was realized in cooperation with DOMICO, was on a space-enclosing, curtain wall facade as a uniform system solution. The concave-convex floor plan and approx. 50 m building height posed major challenges.
By using the DOMICO Planum facade system, we met the requirements for maximum prefabrication, quality and short construction times while at the same time being cost-effective.
MATERIALS
Individually coated steel cassettes on 2,100 sqm in an inspiring variety of colors. Different cover widths and cassette lengths guarantee great design freedom.
The project-specific, durable material avoids time-consuming cutting work and stands for the highest installation quality. Thanks to the wide selection of coatings and surfaces, the optimum solution was found for this project.
